MS 1 Incoming students – English Department Preparation assignments
Conversational English
Classes for English as well as for many subjects at CSIA are not only conducted in English but also require students from the start to have confidence to participate vigorously in class discussions in English, to be prepared to make presentations using English only, and to actively socialize with their peers and teachers through English. Therefore it is highly recommended that all incoming students practice their conversational skills on a daily basis, and listen to or watch native English programs to maintain their English abilities & vocabulary knowledge. Current affairs, daily English newspapers, and local radio programs are just some of the ways to keep up these skills. The purchase of WordSmart & similar materials can enhance these abilities.
